Assoc. Prof. Hristov from the Institute of Literature at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences is spending this semester at the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University – one of the top IR schools in the U.S., located just a few blocks from the White House. 🏛️ His Fulbright project explores the work of Reuben Henry Markham – the famous American journalist and leading expert on Bulgaria, the Balkans, and Eastern Europe. The project examines Markham’s understanding of totalitarianism. 📚🔎 Being surrounded by world-class scholars in European, Russian, and Eurasian studies makes this experience truly unique – and available to all Bulgarian scholars, too, through the Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program.
